There are two main kinds of education: one that teaches you how to make a living; and the other teaches you how to live. As you can see here, the former is the formal education, where one is taught in school the basic, academic, or trade skills; where the latter is the non-formal and/or informal type where one is taught and/or teaches himself the basic necessities of living such as, cooking, and other basic skills to survive.
